Create a broadcast
A broadcast sends one approved template message to many contacts at once. Each recipient receives it as a normal one-to-one WhatsApp message — they cannot see anyone else on the list.
Before you start
- Your WhatsApp Business Account is connected.
- Your template is approved by Meta.
- Your contacts are imported.
- You have checked your remaining daily messaging allowance.
Send a broadcast
- Log in to the Voixt Dashboard and open WhatsApp → Broadcasts.
- Click Create Broadcast.
- Give the broadcast an internal name — recipients never see this.
- Select the audience. Apply filters to narrow it down.
- Choose your approved template.
- Fill in parameter values. Map each
{{1}},{{2}}to a contact field such as name or city — see Use parameters. - Preview the message exactly as a customer will see it.
- Send now, or schedule it for later.
Preview before every send
The preview renders your template with real values from a sample contact. Check that:
- Every parameter resolves. A blank value turns
Hello {{1}},intoHello ,. - The message reads naturally at its longest realistic length.
- Buttons and links work and point where you intend.
- The audience count is what you expected.
Watch the send
While a broadcast runs, WhatsApp → Broadcasts shows live counts for sent, delivered, read, and failed messages. Replies arrive in the Inbox and open a 24-hour service window with that customer.
What can go wrong
| Symptom | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Broadcast stops partway | You hit your daily messaging limit | Split the campaign across days |
| Some messages fail | Invalid or unreachable numbers | Clean the contact list and re-import |
Message shows Hello , | A contact is missing the mapped field | Fill the field, or pick a different parameter source |
| Template unavailable | It is Pending or Rejected | Wait for approval, or fix and resubmit |
Best practices
- Send a test broadcast to yourself and one colleague before the real one.
- Start with your most engaged segment. Early engagement protects your quality rating.
- Do not message the same person in two campaigns the same week.
- Schedule for a sensible local hour. A 2 AM promotion earns blocks.
- Review Insights afterwards and feed what you learn into the next send.
Next steps
- Filter your audience precisely.
- Understand messaging limits before scaling up.
