Get started with Voixt

This walks you from an empty account to your first delivered WhatsApp message. It should take about twenty minutes, most of which is waiting for Meta to approve a template.

1. Create your account

Sign up at app.voixt.ai/register.

The signup flow takes you through:

  1. Register — email and password.
  2. Verify your email — click the link we send you.
  3. Set up your company — name, industry, and time zone. This becomes your workspace.
  4. Choose a plan — plans differ by credits and seats.

Full walkthrough: Create a Voixt account.

:::tip Two-factor authentication Turn on 2FA under Profile → Security once you are in. Your workspace holds customer data. :::

2. Connect WhatsApp

Voixt talks to WhatsApp through Meta's Cloud API, so you need a Meta Business Account and a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA).

You will need a phone number that is not currently registered with the consumer WhatsApp app or the WhatsApp Business app.

Follow Connect WhatsApp.

3. Import your contacts

Go to WhatsApp → Contacts → Import and upload a CSV.

Two columns are mandatory: Name and Mobile Number. Include the country code on every international number — +919876543210, not 9876543210.

Tag people as you import. Those tags become the filters you will use to target broadcasts.

Details: Import and export contacts.

4. Create and submit a template

You cannot message a customer out of the blue with free-form text. WhatsApp requires a pre-approved template.

  1. Go to WhatsApp → Templates → Create Template.
  2. Pick the right category — Utility, Marketing, or Authentication. Getting this wrong is the most common rejection reason.
  3. Write the message. Add parameters like {{1}} where the customer's name or order number belongs.
  4. Submit to Meta.

Approval usually takes between one minute and 24 hours.

Details: Create a WhatsApp template.

5. Send your first broadcast

Once the template shows Approved:

  1. Go to WhatsApp → Broadcasts → Create Broadcast.
  2. Filter your audience — start small, with people who know you.
  3. Select the approved template and map its parameters to contact fields.
  4. Preview, then send.

Replies land in the Inbox, and each one opens a 24-hour window in which you can reply freely.

Details: Create a broadcast.

What to learn next

Once the basics work, these are the things that matter.

TopicWhy it matters
Messaging limitsCaps how many new customers you can reach per day. Meta raises it as your quality rating improves.
The 24-hour windowDetermines when you need a template and when you do not.
Flows and automationHandles the routine conversations so your team does not have to.
AI agentsAnswers customer questions from your own documents and website.
Lead managementTracks every conversation through to a closed deal.
Teams and rolesLets colleagues share the inbox without stepping on each other.

Two mistakes to avoid

Do not blast your whole contact list. Meta measures blocks and reports. One irrelevant campaign to everyone can drop your quality rating to Low, which freezes your messaging limit and can restrict the account. Always filter first.

Do not message people who never opted in. It is the fastest route to the same outcome, and it violates Meta's WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy.
